  Oh yeah Mary, I forgot about that - this latest tract work was of course the final warning wasn't it - despite the fact that the vast majority of the earths popultation will have read the message!

  Thanks DB1974 - that would be a miracle of science wouldn't it, seeing our comparitive ages!!
  
  I just posted this request coz my dad hasn't spoken to me for 4 years as he is an elder but I have my suspicians that he may look at sites like this. It would be great if he did.

  hi my name is crystal...i am 20 and was disfellowshipped two years ago.

  that was the hardest thing i have ever been thru in my life yet.. i was disfellowshipped for falling in love with and having relations with another female.

  I was df'd 4 years ago and the shunning does hurt but it hurts those still in more, they must hate doing it.
  
  I am so happy that I'm out of the org now though, and I'm v v happy.

  JW Divorce Rate

  anybody know what the jw divorce rate is these days?.

  how many dub couples do you know that got divorced?.

  No exact figures but there are absolutely loads of divorces amongst Jehovahs Witnesses.
  
  I was one of them and how glad I am that I was able to 'start again'.
  
  First time round I was soooo young and inexperienced, now I know what kind of person I want to be my wife, and I found her and we are very very happy.
  
  Also, how many Witnesses are still married, but very very unhappy, but they stay together due to the immense pressure to do what's 'right'?

  They do actually place more than 50 of those tracts per publisher... :(

  too bad- some folks here did a calculation and said that evin if all dubs placed all their tracts they'd only cover 300 million of the earth's inhabitants (mainly in western lands where people toss them straight in the garbage), thus only reaching a maximum of 4 1/2 % of the earth's population... .

  i think many publishers, inflamed with zeal, get packet after packet of 50 tracts each for "placement in the ministry".

  (eeeee- i love using those buzzwords!

  Burn The Ships - wouldn't That be a great idea - if every one of you on this site who still goes to the meetings would write on the field service report that they did 1 or 2 hours on the ministry and then write on the back that they also spent 20 hours on JWD!
